Prevent Donald Trump from making a state visit to the United Kingdom - petition

No it's not. You have to do more than just click on a link to register your support for the petition.

Prevent Donald Trump from making a state visit to the United Kingdom - petition

He's not doing that. He's presiding over a barrage of misinformation that is designed to intimidate innocent people. His sidekick has apparently told Boris Johnson that the travel ban won't apply to dual citizens like Mo Farah, while the US embassy in London is say that anyone with dual...

That wasn't a petition about a State Visit.

Prevent Donald Trump from making a state visit to the United Kingdom - petition

No. He is the President of a nation with a constitution that gives powers of veto to the judiciary and to the legislature. The signs are that the other branches of government might be moving themselves into position to challenge Trump. He certainly doesn't have the powers of a dictator.

Donald J Trump diagnosed as malignant narcissist

Isn't Deng a citizen of South Sudan and the UK, not Sudan? Although I doubt if the US authorities understand the distinction.

Been offered a signed shirt for daughter - what to do?

The young Miss Bracknell got her unsigned shirt unexpectedly signed by someone she described as "a bald-headed bloke who came up to me in the Club Shop". I don't think she knew who he was at the time, but she came home with the name Peter Ward scrawled over the sleeve.

[Albion] "Top of the Championship Brighton"

We need to find a way of handling our nervousness. I'm seriously considering nominating Lewis Dunk in the Most-Overrated-Player-In-The-Championship thread.

Which SPORT are you best at?

Probably cross country running but, like Monsieur Nylon, I never reached the highest of standards. In fact, I gave up when I first came to Brighton and got an invitation to go to training with a housemate who was himself a good runner. It was when I discovered that his training group included...

We're not very good, Fulham are better......

It might have been worth pointing out that the Club did, in fact, spend a considerable sum on lengthening and widening the platforms at Falmer station. What stops the option of extending things further to accommodate twelve coach trains is that this would require a complete re-build of Lewes...

    Imps v Seagulls

Lincoln City fans must have experienced similar feelings about their own team, as they slid out of the fourth tier of English football and then failed to bounce back quickly. How good it must feel at the moment to be clearly in recovery. I'm full of admiration for the fans who have stuck with...

    'The usual?'

I remember going into the Ram at Firle with my then eight-year old son. The woman behind the bar greeted him with the words, "Hello, Dan. The usual?" "Yes, please" came the response. More than slightly surprised, I watched her produce ... ... a bottle of Pandapops and a straw. That's...

    New Monks Farm Development

It seems to be the case that the company came into being back in 2001 and was bought by the current owners last year. It's interesting, is it not? that Tony Bloom is not a director. That presumably doesn't stop him from being a shareholder, of course.

    New Monks Farm Development

Of course it is. And Tony Bloom is very successful in both roles. My point is that Albion supporters might have to get our heads around the fact that some of his investment decisions might be made for reasons other than just contributing to the wellbeing of the Football Club. This development...

    New Monks Farm Development

It's obviously going to be a bit difficult for us to get our heads around a simple question :- Is Tony Bloom a property developer or a football club owner?
