Thing is I don't even think we have been shite.
Yesterday we were for long periods but even then we could/should have got something bar some bizarre decisions and some inspired goalkeeping.
Watford are 7th but we outplayed them.
Fulham horrendous 2nd half but superb first.
Before that we had...
I think the 4-3-3 was needed away from home where something clearly needed to change.
However at home the 4-4-1-1 was working fine so don't think it should have been changed.
Despite what many think Hughton is a very good manager and I have every faith he will sort it out.
I think this may just be because there is another team playing!!
At 2-0 down teams are far more likely to bomb forward throwing caution to the wind to try and come back into a game. We have done exactly the same against Fulham (home) and Southampton. Also at Old Trafford we did the same - or...
Possibly but it would then have to be asked why he has less to work with when they have been in the PL for longer and would have received significantly more prize money than us for finishing 7th.
And this season we have beaten Man Utd and drawn with Arsenal.
Doesn't mean these results are usual or there would not be such a gap between the top 6 and the rest.
Just saying that picking a 4 game run that includes 3 away games (with the only home game being Liverpool) is not exactly...
We have played Liverpool and Man Utd during this time so hardly fair to look at points total from 4 games.
Gross deeper and Propper further forward IS a change yet you started by saying there had been no tactical change.
Whether you like the change or not the facts are that we are now scoring...
No significant tactical change? Move from 4-4-1-1 to 4-3-3 has led to a very different style of play (7 away goals before Jan, 8 in Jan since the change)
Isn't changing the players round exactly what a tactical change is??
The attitude of SOME of our fans baffles me.
At the start of the season many fans were accusing Chris Hughton of being too negative and defensive. Many at this time were saying they wished we would go for games more and be more attacking even if it did mean we conceded more goals as it would be...
No problem - understandable!
Seen a lot on twitter etc of people saying "typical Brighton" or similar so was wondering when it last happened.
Looks like it was about 16 years ago so not that typical!
Not about last night at all (not directly anyway) - I was just wondering when the last time this happened was as I cannot recall ever seeing it before.
If anything this is a positive thread showing how rare it is.
Was wondering when was the last time we lost after being 2-0 up?
I've been watching us since regularly since 1990 and honestly cannot remember it happening before in this time. I'm sure it must have done but cannot think of any occasions
