Just looked up some stats on Gross. Despite being missing for most of the season he has created 23 of our 69 "big chances" this season. 2nd highest from any other player is 8. Our entire midfield 3 have only created 6 between them.
With Gross in the side we are far more likely to score.
Not from me - Gross, even when not playing well, was always our most creative player. He has been a big loss.
Agree about the 433 - it's been a disaster. We seemed to switch to it as our away form was so poor but for some reason used it at home as well when up until then our home form had been...
Not saying he is in good form (he clearly isn't) but Andone has done no better.
I don't think it any coincidence that Murray's form has gone to pot since Gross has been out.
Would like Murray to start against Cardiff with Gross behind in 4411. If not then Andone in Gross role. Neither of hem...
Most managers make 1 sub at a time to only disrupt one position at once.
It was REALLY obvious this was going to happen - Jose was clearly about to come on as well.
Poor from North stand to boo a change to 442 when it was clearly needed.
Like for like for 2 mins before bringing on the 2nd sub - it was clear he was about to go 2 upfront.
Would you have kept Andone on as the lone striker? Murray and 2 up top was the way to go - this was not why we lost 5-0!
But it was obvious it was the first of 2 quick subs and that we were about to go 2 upfront.
Jose was clearly the next to come on and it was obvious that Locadia would then go upfront.
These were the right subs imo - no idea why fans booed them.
There was so much to boo today and it truly was awful BUT I don't get why this sub was booed?
Andone had been awful and it was obvious at this time that we would be going 442 with Jose about to come on as well.
At that stage in the game switching to 2 upfront (Murray and Locadia) seemed the...
Thought he was fantastic first half but really poor in the second.
Needs to choose the better option at times.
Great potential but no-where near as good (yet) as some have been making him out to be.
Thanks mate. Very kind words - I'll post some more pics on there later!
He's just accepted an unconditional offer to study wildlife photography at Uni. He was also featured in Practical Photography magazine this week in a section on new talent so he's quite upbeat about his photography at the...
To me this highlights why things such as Comic Relief are needed. The Aid projects they support are all bottom up schemes (ie small scale helping local populations) rather than top-down (government run) schemes. It means the people most at need receive the money. Although it sounds a lot when...
