[Misc] Best wifi mesh network equipment?

Also worked very well in my house which has very thick 1m internal walls - solved years of poor coverage.

[Albion] How the hell is Dan Burn in the starting line up again!

The commentators on CNBC were saying this is why he's in the team - to aim to counteract a strength in the West Ham team.

[Albion] Is it the manager, or is it recruitment?

2nd in the league on big chances missed. https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/clubs/big_chance_missed?se=363 Perhaps evidence that the strikers are the problem rather than the manager.

[Albion] What was your first Brighton away game?

Bristol Rovers in around 1984/1985. We'd moved from Haywards Heath to Bristol in 83 and my Mum took me to see us play, in what I assume was a League Cup game. We were sat with the Rovers fans and I remember jumping up and cheering when we scored before realising that wasn't a good idea!

[TV] any decent alternatives to hesgoal?

Footybite is good. Lots of options on there, of which my current go to is Hockey News because it currently doesn't have pop-ups. Cycling Entertainment is also good and pop-up free, but they only cover a small number of games.

[Albion] The Hardest Working Midfield in the League

Interesting stats here from a BBC article. Suggests our midfield work harder than any other team (in distance covered at least!) with Gross, Stephens and Propper all in the top 10. Lots of other interesting stats in the article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/41791338

Child of the 70's? What was your favourite....

Growing up in Haywards Heath - best years of my life. Great friends. Loved my primary school (St Wilfreds). Great family. Fishing with my Dad. Playing football with friends in the street. In fact it was play, play, play! Dad died when I was 11 (1981) and we left when I was 13 (1983) (to...

    [Albion] Sir Norman Wisdom celebrates.

I remember going to the opening of Wisdom Sport in Haywards Heath and getting Brian Horton and Steve Foster's autographs. Huge thrill for a young fan. Happy days!

    We're favourites...

I've been supporting Brighton for the last 37 years! I've seen and been through it all with the club I've loved since I was a boy. What does it matter if it's just my fourth post! I'm on this forum 3-4 times a week following what's going on and love to read the posts. I just don't make many...

    We're favourites...

for relegation... https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation The bookies are normally right and if we're honest we should be favourites to go down, much as we expect more. Very low budget. No track record. I hope that if we are bottom at Christmas that people...

We have a national debt of about £1.5T

As RexCathedra says the word decimation is derived from Latin meaning "removal of a tenth", which is more than likely in relation to the economy if we didn't pay back our debt or pay interest on it. Another definition from the oxford dictionary is "drastically reduce the strength or...

We have a national debt of about £1.5T

    1. You'd be wiping out a huge portion of the people's pension funds and savings as that is a lot of what makes up 40% of national debt. Most of what the government borrow they borrow from the people. 2. No-one would lend to the government in the future as no-one would trust them. Governments...

We have a national debt of about £1.5T

Only 3% of government debt is borrowed directly from banks. The majority, over 40% of government debt is mostly owed to it's people (and companies). They borrow through the banks but the banks are mostly just spending our money as it's money we have saved with them in the form of pensions or...
