I don't think it's a coincidence (sorry if been mentioned already) that he has gone down hill since Roberts left. He was like a father figure for Sanchez and I think it's affected him more than he or the Club realise.
Talk of Beadle going to Bolton on loan, that would be a good move for him, excelled at Crewe before his injury so he should be able to step up to league 1.
It might have been said already, but I guess with what, 18 months on his contract left before the World Cup? If he hadn't of signed his new contract he would have left this summer for about £25m as only having a year left.
However due to negotiations, his contract is longer but we wouldn't...
I remember going to a "European game" at the Goldstone, I think it was Spurs playing as they had Day as the GK? Could be wrong. As you say it was in the summer, I only went along as thought it's the only chance of seeing European football at the Goldstone!
Exactly, the number of times Webster got to outside of Evertons box and didn't know what to do with the ball as to be fair, there was no movement ahead of him. However Facundo was always in acres of space, appeared the players didn't trust him to have the ball. Everton could see that so left him...
I think he will keep Sanchez in, and play Buonanotte instead of March. Undav in for Welbeck.
Sanchez
Veltman Dunk Webster Estupinan
Gross Caicedo
Buonanotte MacAllister Enciso
Undav
Mitoma looked knackered on Sunday, wouldn't be surprised if he is on the bench to come on in the second half.
I think the talks with De Zerbi in June about next season will be telling in who goes.
I think we will sell someone, could be anyone of Sanchez/Mitoma/MacAllister/Caicedo but I know we won't sell until we have a) our valuation is met and b) we have a replacement.
We will also have to buy, I...
It's great to see them fighting relegation (especially after those twitter posts done by "MARK_CPFC" back in Sept who thought we would be down there after Potter left! Unfortunately, I think they will survive quite comfortably in the end. On paper they have the easiest run in out of every other...
A couple of those stats are not good are they:
The Seagulls are yet to lose a Premier League game this season against a team currently lower than 11th in the table. Crystal Palace are 12th.
Brighton won only one of their 17 Premier League matches played on a Wednesday (W1-D8-L8), a 1-0 victory...
I know we beat them with 10 men and we have the St Patricks day massacre but we still owe them big time for the play off defeat (was in a foul mood for weeks afterwards) and the 5-0 at their place (I was with my Palace loving Father-in-law in the main stand) so it's about time we did them at...
