Maybe because it's ongoing. We all lose our passion from time to time but now things don't seem to be progressing.
How many teams do you think we could beat in this league? I'm hoping we do well against Huddersfield but Wigan haven't won at home for months, so that looks a nailed on win for...
He does remind of my time watching Mike bailey's team. Stats show we reached our highest league position under him but, going away it was always hang on for a point and, after a few good away snatch & grabs, other teams sussed us and it was just waiting for the inevitable goal to go to be...
And why is every other team fitter than us? When they break forward they can get 5 or 6 players up. When we 'break', 8 of our players casually stroll from our penalty area and my just reach the half way line before we lose possession.
Not read the whole thread but when somebody as respected as the OP feels moved to write such a post then it must not be ignored.
Of course we now have a wonderful home, I love the Amex and now we have the training facility too. A f3ew years ago we had 'The Brighton brand' in regards to how we...
Play one up front and keep passing the ball across the back four and the occasional backpass. It's worked so well so far and it's what we're trained in.
Losing to a top team, well that happens & that's why they are top.
What is a disgrace is the way we have not gone for wins against teams that everybody else beats easiliy, or results against mid table teams that are out of form. CH does not set us out to win.
What also helped, certainly in the time i was there (up to about 7.00pm) was that there was no football chanting, which tends to drive people into their seperate groups. Everybody just wanted to dance along to the songs or chat together.
Great time and well done to those who put it on, nice mix of tunes too!
How about something for the last home game, which is an early KO so early finish. If summer arrives it could be a beach party. outside the North?
CH has obviously improved things left by the hapless SH but I have my concerns.
The away form is dire and we don't seem to go out to win games, a 0-0 seems to be the sole ambition.
At home we play with one up front and often 2 wiingers on the bench yet we need pace & width. It seems he has no...
CH does this all the time, 2 wingers and put them on the bench. It makes no sense especially when the team is sent out to play narrow.
Have a winger to go flat out for 70mins then change him.
