[NSC] Wristwatches,do you wear one ?

Me too; I stopped wearing a watch the day I retired (March 2019), I decided that generally speaking I no longer care too much what the time is - particularly after decades of work and being ruled by the time. It's working well so far.

"I dont make predictions and I probably never will" Who said that (I've forgotten), Beckham? Hoddle?

[Albion] Dull, dull, dull, have we now become the dullest team to watch in the EPL?

Yesterday the football was tedious, timid, tepid and toothless. I thought that the "expert commentator" on Sky made some very good points about Brightons approach, weaknesses and (potential) solutions, unfortunately I can't remember his name :lolol:

[Albion] Are we the most predictable team in the league?

After watching the last 5 matches it certainly seems to me that Cucurella and Lamptey have been "found out" by the competition.

[Film] It’s not you, it’s me cinematic blind spots

An Officer and a Gentleman - tedium defined, and crap music, Cocker should have been embarrassed. "Horror". I don't see the point of being frightened for entertainment purposes.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Aston Villa *** Official Match Thread *** - KO Delayed Until 3:30

It seems to me that we (still) dont have a Plan B when things arent going our way - just keep running down the wings, crossing (or losing) the ball and hoping that our forwards are there and that they need less than 3 touches before attempting a shot. If that doesnt work then just try and do it...

[Help] Has anyone WITH responsibilities ever just quit their job with no backup plan?

100% this. I was there, I did this, and it worked. and I walked off with £15k in my pocket (to keep my mouth shut) from the company that created the situation. (I did use a friendly solicitor to get the extra money) I then used the time it gave me and my (genuine) reputation in "the industry"...

[Travel] Trains: Brighton / Seaford - possible disruption. Best to check before you travel

Or perhaps the perhaps they're simply still checking the integrity of the lines after the worst storms in 30 years?

    [Help] Gardeners Question Time.

We had a colony of sloworms in our garden when we moved in 35 years ago and they too lived happily in my compost heap. Unfortunately our cats found them to be delicious, so no more sloworms.
