I played a couple of games for our leagues Rep Squad in the early 90's, the first one being against Langley Sports(now Eastbourne Borough). Our team was made up of 20 something whippersnappers who all thought we were the dogs bollocks. Langley came out all in their mid to late 30's, looking like...
I'm not normally up at this hour, but i'm in India working where it is 9.57am. Kick off will be 8.30 tonight local time, just gotta try and find somewhere to watch it
We said we’d never buy a big tv and went for an hd projector and drop down screen, and then we moved the rooms around a bit downstairs.
A really good offer came in for a 55” telly and it fitted the room perfectly.
The projector doesn’t get enough use now, but is good for big games, and movies...
I’ll be flying back from a business trip in India. Hoping that the flight isn’t delayed, I get through passport etc quickly, then catch my bus back to Sussex, and am sat in front of the telly by 5.44
We have a long term low rate fixed mortgage and a little savings, but i'd like them to go down to try and stabilise the economy, and help those who are struggling because of higher rates
Definitely this.
Steer well clear of getting involved in anything that might involve HMRC further down the line, if in fact it really has nothing to do with you now
2 points dropped. We should have been home and dry by halftime. And then bossed the second half giving Moder 20 mins at the end.
Instead, we didn’t take our chances, go a man down, gift them a goal and then hang on for a point. Not a great day, but it was always going to be tough
Making a substitution at half time is a bit of a free hit, so I think they nursed him through to that, had a proper look and gave it a quick rub, and then did the right thing.
I'm more concerned that Pervis only lasted 10 mins, there is obviously something longer term hanging around there
Brighton v Ajax feels like it should be played in July to a half empty stadium, with 22 players each getting 45 mins in preparation for the new season.
But in fact it's very real and little ol Brighton more than holding their own in a competition I never thought i'd see us play in.
f***ing...
Gone for league wins. Our league form has dropped a little from early season euphoria, and we need to get this back on track. Europe is fun, but 6 more points for me.
And whats to say we won't do well against Ajax again?
It's my boys birthday on Boxing Day and football is/was always something we could do, otherwise options are pretty limited. Looks like we're back to 10 pin bowling, and trying to find somewhere half decent that's open for food.
