Sorry but I thought it was clear the Ref got this bit wrong. Someone posted that if the Ref blows and stops the game for a pen and it is overturned THEN it is a drop ball. If the play is stopped by ball out of play and then the Ref blows for a pen and it is then overturned, the next play should...

We played some really good stuff tonight and just glad of the 3 points. Brentford didn't have much but found some passing moves those last minutes which had me biting my nails.

I also thought Higher Bevendean started at the top of Hillside and included the streets of Bevendean Crescent, Widdlecombe Way, Nyetimber Hill and Medmerry Hill and thats it. Lower Bevendean or just Bevendean as many know it as was over the next hill.

This - the ref was very good, any little foul was picked up. You wonder if there are different rules for kids and for the grownups 🤔🙄

This is what it seemed to me. The Ref turned away from Dunk and then Dunk tried to pull him back and that's when the Ref got the yellow card out. I think the VAR picture was very blurry on the TV and I couldn't tell if Hinshelwood pulled their guy back or not. Maybe VAR was guessing again.

It seems to me that Everton expedited their case so that their punishment came in this season as they have a chance to stay in the PL with 3-4 poor teams. Next year there could be Leicester, Leeds and Saints which could make it much harder to stay up.

We made it easy for them 2nd half after a good 1st half where we should have scored more goals. Sometimes our build-up is too slow at home where the away side defend with 9-10 men and it is too congested in and around the box. Lots of sloppy passing throughout the game by us. At least we didn't...
