I know they're shit now but there was a time in living memory when 1860 were serious rivals. Potential is still big if they ever get their act together.
As the name suggests Bayern were more the team of the region of Bavaria whilst 1860 were well supported in the city of Munich.
I'll add...
As you correctly point out, he was one of the few Radio 1 DJs to survive when Matthew Bannister took over the station and cleverly chose to leave when he wanted to.
It all feels so strange as I was only listening to him on Pick of the Pops this morning. He made that show his own with a...
As the definition of a hit song seems quite flexible, let me add Talk Talk to the mix - no Top 10 singles, radio standards like "It's My Life" and "Such a Shame" didn't even make the Top 40 , absolutely massive in continental Europe.

It will take a lot for any film to impress me more than The Holdovers. I cannot recommend it highly enough - brilliant acting, great dialogue, authentic 70s feel, great locations, soundtrack...it had everything I want from a film.
9.2/10
If he's only got six months left on his contact, they should make him train by himself and fine him the maximum. What a horrendous thing to do when your team are chasing the play-offs.
I am absolutely gutted that I can't watch tomorrow's game - the Under 12s I coach are in an indoor tournament. Should never have entered them...
That tells me my cup fever is at least 4/5.
The only thing I would add is that it was a lot more affordable - ticket prices, young person rail card.
What strikes me on my infrequent visits back home is how middle class and middle aged football has become.
