Does the reason really matter if it influences people to go to the game? Surely thats the entire logic behind Loyalty points? Would you prefer that only 1000 turned up yesterday but enryone one was there just for the footy?
They are the same in that they all use SPADS that are ex average PR people more concerned with what (they think) is popular rather than what's right, and it's those SPADs that are pretty much driving policy approach in both parties. You can dispute it as much as you like but it is what it is.
Because the area I worked in consults with both parties. Particularly as everyone expects Labour to win. The machine works in exactly the same way regardless of party.
The Tories may very well struggle to ever win an election again after this period. I just don’t see how the grown ups ever get control of the party from here. However the issue is that there are plenty of career politicians that will be replacing them in Labours ranks that don’t really have...
The sort of thread you wake up and wished you hadnt pressed the post button, but then yoiu wake up, and yes, there it is, forever more recorded in the NSC annals of history.
If he is even injured (he clearly wasnt by the time of this afternoons presser), there is no way they would have been able to diagnose the time length already.
When are we going to all wake up and really that the subscription as a service model that almost all tech is heading toward is a total con to constantly extract more and more money for things we really probably dont need?
I just cancelled my hydrow rowing £30pm sub as I get just as much...
Mitoma the obvious if we want a big fee incoming. I think Lamptey could also go just because he's so unreliable with injuries.
Just cant see us selling Pedro yet. He cost £30m so needs a bigger offer to give us the profit we want, and I think the market will be suppressed because of FFP.
I mean an Albion fan should have the perspective that you dont have to spend ridiculous amounts of money to compete. Also whether you are an Albion or not you'd have to be pretty dim to not foresee that without these rules nation state owners would drive overall price inflation to breaking point...
OP is right the club shop is an absolute shambles. Never any kit available at obvious peak times of demand. Kids kit items around Xmas, forget it. Let people down on items ordered. Completely failed to have anything in to capatilise on the Mitoma Mania last season and our Japanese tourists...
The one that isnt Henry Winter with the Geordie accent!
Edit: It's here at 10:30 where you express sympathy with why some are upset the chickens are coming to roost, anti FFP journos, and why the Saudis should feel aggrieved they cant blow their Gazzilions to Man City status. Very bizarre...
By design or not its working for me. It would be horrendous if the Saudis (and other new owners) could buy themselves into Man City territory and the damage that would do to continuing football cost inflation, and clubs are far less able to risk bankruptcy with irresponsible spending. I cant...
But those same rules are now stopping Chelsea from buying their way back into the big 6. Those rules didn't stop Newcastle getting top 4, or us 6th (and some bad VAR from top 4). Those rules look like they are going to finally catch up with Man City. If those restrictions protected the status...
They may well find it this season, but they can only get away with it so long, and at the loss of the players that really get the club, whilst being stuck with the mercenaries who are so rich on the long contracts they don't really care. They also cant but new players, or move the recent...
