Having been at the game I now feel more confident that Locardia can play up front on his own. At times he was strong and held the ball up well. To me he looks Premier league standard which Hemed never did.

Wow. Just watched his highlights on YouTube of the Lille v Strasbourg game. Would certainly bring something different.

I think we would still be interested. The World Cup showed that he is strong and powerful and can beat a man. Also plays with his head up and can spot a pass which isn’t a strength of our other wide men. Even Ronaldo would struggle to shine playing for Iran in a World Cup.

He was ok. Can beat a man and just needed his team mates to give it to him when he was in space.
