[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

Our first home game under Mike Bailey, and on the flip side their first ever away game in the top flight, seem to recall they packed the away end, although Mr Bamber’s ‘creative accounting’ rustled up a crowd barely over 14,000. Ironically a mere 16 months later Mr Bamber sacked Bailey because...

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

Were we not predominantly in 92nd position for the majority of the 96/97 season, but finished in 91st place? 🤷‍♂️

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

I will stand corrected but I don’t think there was ever a 24 team, ie 46 games, top flight Div 1.

Slightly off topic. Liverpool won the League that season, yet not top 10 at the start of December, a truly competitive league

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

Thank you (y) Carlisle topped the old First Division on the second Saturday of the 74/75 season but they dropped like a stone and finished 22nd, can't imagine they went from 1 to 2 to 3 etc. Luton is a great shout, but then again did they ever top Div One or the EPL? Notts County, Oxford...

[Albion] Have we, at some point in our seasons in the EFL/EPL, occupied every position between 1-92?

Finally getting round to putting pen to paper regarding the Albion Fanzine culture/our rollercoaster ride in my 51 years watching the club, and wondered if we have actually occupied every position in 1-92 places in domestic football, and if we have, are we one of the few clubs that have actually...

[Humour] Jason Manford at The Forge

Apologies for being late to the party but was taken by a mate to see Jason Manford at The Forge last night (the second of his three night engagement there) Never been to the venue before, really like it, and as for night, superb stuff, Manford effectively trying out new material (with a check...

[Misc] The Most You've Paid For An Event

Just asking on behalf of the NSC seniors :lolol: As we get older do we just let all these rising prices wash over us? Mrs H treated me to a night at The Savoy for my 60th, we had a drink (s) in The American Bar, 2 glasses of Proseco and two bottles of Peroni, £55 including the service charge...

[Misc] The Most You've Paid For An Event

I remember Bowie's Glass Spider tour in 1987, he played Maine Road, originally putting one night on which naturally sold out in minutes, so they put a second night on, it effectively killed any touting for the second date, an impressive set of support, Terence Trent D'arby and Alison Moyet meant...

1000 Euros for England vs Spain in Berlin in July (face value) but bear in mind a comparable ticket at Wembley three years before against Italy was 886 euros, so it hadn't gone up that much. $1,000 for Hatton vs Mayweather in Vegas December 2007 (again face value) I bought a rare 1970's Subbuteo...

[Football] Sutton United Ladies put their head above the parapet

Gents (and Ladies) reading some of the responses are we not allowed to have a debate now? (How long before Sir Keir shuts down NSC, after he’s banned fags in beer gardens? 😂) It came up on my feed this morning, and many on here know boxing is also another sport I love and what went on in...

[Albion] Joao Pedro - How good is he?..

Mark Lawrenson was always my Albion GOAT (Greatest of All Time), whilst there have been a number of challengers, he still is, but if JP develops further for how low long? 🤷‍♂️😂

They never mentioned he was surplus to requirements, it’s apparent that’s the case with young Fabian.

[Albion] Napoli interested in Billy Gilmour **Sold 30/08/24**

Full disclosure, Billy lives, or sadly lived, in my road in Worthing, earlier this week I met his parents out in the street, at that point, ie Tuesday morning, he had never indicated he wanted to leave the club, the complete opposite, with a potential World Cup with Scotland in two years time...
