Management & coaching - offensively we haven't got a clue. It takes other teams seconds to build an attack where it takes us days, I have been saying all season we do not move the ball quickly enough.In fairness to CH whether you like his style of football or not he is qualified to be working at...
So Glen keeps defying his doubters and is becoming an all time legend. It seems he only has to turn up at the Amex in front of the North Stand and he gets a goal or 2. So my questions are:
1. Whats his goal ratio stats at the Amex (inc his appearances for Palace & Reading)?
2. Whats the split...
Can remember going to Selhurst standing in the away end supporting West Brom for the day. The big fella came up trumps to score the winner with a neat header to beat the enemy. RIP
As a fervent fan of the Albion for 45 years I have and always will follow them through thick and thin. I am guessing I have been to something like 800 Brighton games and have spent a small doing so, after yesterdays performance I was totally unhappy with that lack luster performance and for...
I watched the game at home and got absolutely smashed on a combination of Prosecco, 5 lagers, Henneys ciders (so good) and whiskey & coke.
I knew I was pissed when I called the Poc free kick before he hit it, best moment of the season for me. I leave the country before the Wolves game and if...
Agree the ref was useless and cost us two goals but he was on par with that lack luster performance by the Albion.
We were terrible, there were absolutely no positives from the Albion yesterday (a part from the fans) and it was the first time in many years that I couldn't bring myself to clap...
Great Thread, my line up would be
1. Wessels
2. Miandad
3. Parker
4. Greig
5. Nawab (never saw him play but Grandad use to work for him and Dad played football with him)
6. Imran (My favourite Sussex Cricketer)
7. Le Roux
8. Prior
9. Lewry (Mother in Laws cousin and very under rated)
10.Snow
11...
I've always thought the highest placed team should be given a one goal start in the semi final and possibly final in recognition for their league efforts.
I definitely would prefer Warburton at the helm than Chris, however a change now wont happen. The club need stability over the summer, something we haven't had for two seasons now.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I said at the time if we couldn't get Sherwood to leave Nathan in charge and...
The open play meant excluding pens. If excluded our main strikers League record this season is
O'Grady = 0 goals
Baldock = 3 goals
CMS = 1 goal
Colunga =1 goal
Whatever way you dress it up is a shabby record. Lets hope it changes tomorrow.
Do you know when was the last time our lone striker (loanees excluded) scored a league goal in open play?
I have a feeling you have to go back to Sky Live game v Bournemouth back at the start of November 2014. If I am right how poor is that? surely it has to set some kind of record!!!
:facepalm:
Totally agree with what has been said although I thought Dunk had his worst game in ages,Mackie really got at him.
On the way home we struggled to name a MOM (possibly COG) and certainly no one deserved more than a 6. On the management front I also thought Chris had his worst day at the office...
Tex on a permanent would be a great investment. The lad is a quality footballer (one of the best I've seen in a blue & white shirt) and when he mans up he willl be worth a whole lot of money. Certainly hope we have an option on him. Him, Lua Lua more involved & Dunk returning to form rwere the...
I never really knew Sarah but we have met on the odd occassion. Its a sad loss to the club, her support towards the Albion will never be forgotten and nor should it it be. RIP Sarah.
Always thought he was a good defender so I was pleased when we signed him. Superb strong challenge at Fulham but I felt Rodallega feigned injury to try to put pressure on the ref. This excessive force, dangerous challenge thing is becoming a defenders nightmare with hasty refs brandishing cards...
