    [News] Missing submersible.

I heard another expert talk about how difficult it is to find anything down there, they pointed to the fact that it took so long to find the Titanic in the first place and it's huge. Even when you know where an object is located at those depths apparently it's really challenging to get down to...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

Ive never heard a MMT economist say that you can spend infinite money, you can't without potentially causing inflation. Reserves (digital money) are simply deposit balances held at the central bank. By definition, only the central bank can provide central bank deposit accounts and therefore, it...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

It does because of the simple accountancy need to balance the books, banks can only create new money (liability of the bank) by creating a loan/ debt (asset of the bank). This is the same as the Bank of England as it is for commercial banks.

[Music] Royal Blood ... Banging the drum.

I think posts like this somewhat prove my point! Maybe they should send him on a anger management course or something?!

[Music] Royal Blood ... Banging the drum.

Who cares where it was! In the past bands would regularly throw strops on stage and nobody batted an eyelid, now everything they do is dissected and criticised so much by everyone online that it seems like they are shit scared of doing or saying the wrong thing!

[Music] Royal Blood ... Banging the drum.

It's exactly because of where they were playing that its got all this media attention! Theres a history of rock bands sabotaging the performances or interviews that their record labels have forced them in to doing....remember Nirvanas famous miming performance on 'top of the pops' for example!

[Music] Royal Blood ... Banging the drum.

Good to see a rock band being outspoken and showing some emotion for once! Music industry has become so sterile and boring with over polished acts too worried about ruining their image on social media.

[Food] Authentic Italian Restaurant in B & H

I was searching for an Italian the other day and came across Mamma Mi on George Street in Hove, not eaten there myself yet but is very highly rated on trip advisor: https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Restaurant_Review-g652380-d20049820-Reviews-Mamma_Mi-Hove_East_Sussex_England.html

    [Football] Tim Vickery

I remember that interview and I think the point about Enciso was that the standard of football in Paraguay was so bad that it was difficult to tell if he would be able to make the step up to the Premier league.

[News] Water companies an apology of sorts.

This has nothing to do with an inability to trust people who aren't in a public sector role, don't make this in to a socialism vs capitalism argument because it really isn't relevant in this instance! The companies I purchase from I trust because they have proven to me that they can do the job...

[News] Water companies an apology of sorts.

Can someone remind me how I change suppliers? As a rule I don't tend to purchase things from companies that have been criminally prosecuted for 'shocking and wholesale disregard for the environment and for 'deliberate, widespread and repeated offending', however I've never got around to...

[Politics] Tory meltdown finally arrived [was: incoming]...

Most countries don’t recognise Taiwan as an independent nation including the US and the UK. It clearly is a delicate issue.

[Albion] So Tomorrow If Those Scousers Boo the National Anthem........

We don't already have an elected head of state! The prime minister is the head of the Executive and is not directly elected by the people.

[Albion] So Tomorrow If Those Scousers Boo the National Anthem........

Why would we need to follow the US system? There are plenty of other systems across the world, Germany for example doesnt even elect its president by popular vote, Its president is chosen at a convention by representatives of Germany's 16 federal states. The Irish president on the other hand is...

    [Albion] Billy Gilmour

Absolutely, he set himself a high bar with that performance against England very early on which may be one reason why he hasn't been able to live up to the hype. Cross fingers De Zerbi can make him in to a regular.

    [Albion] Billy Gilmour

He was absolutely brilliant yesterday however his problem has always been consistency. Throughout his career he's always had these types of performances in him however somehow he always ends up back on the bench and unable to get back in to the team. For me, I think we need to see him string a...

    [Albion] Joao Pedro Brazilian Maestro

Genuinely does anyone think that the transfer departments and the strategy of the top clubs in the premiership are swayed by what is in the media or on Twitter? These are large teams of people working with huge budgets and data driven approaches….do we think they see a tweet and go, ‘oh never...

[Albion] Coronation Day. King or Albion?

Forget the cost issue what this should be about is the principle of hereditary public office which is completely outdated and undemocratic. It's absolutely ludicrous that we are elevating someone to a position of power and influence based on nothing more than what family he was born into, and...

    [Albion] De Zerbi quote

Absolutely bang on, the fact that we started with enciso meant that we had no potential game changing players on the bench. I thought Mitoma looked like he was having a bad game to me (maybe carrying a slight injury?) but there was nobody on the bench to replace him.
