The thread was over the top just to get the debate going. It just frustrates me a bit because I think we could be doing even better than we have been with a bit of tinkering.

Good points, thing is Cms is not a young player and is proberly to old to change his game, so it's gunna take gus to change the formation to suit Cms.

Gus likes to play 433, the blueprint for that formation is pace out wide ie noone / Buckley/ kaz and a someone through the middle with a presence and comfortable with his bck to goal. If you look at successful teams playing that formation let's take Chelsea they have drogba and lets take Swansea...

Look I dont think we should sell him. But like I have said in the thread the way gus likes to play is never gunna suit Cms game.

I haven't said he isn't our best asset but for what ever reason were not getting the best out of him.

Yeah agree they are,but it's never gunna get the best out of Cms.

But he doesn't play Hoskins up front he plays him on the left of a three, that's not where he was playing when he bagged loads of goals last season.

I just think gus is very set in his ways.

All the time he is playing with his back to goal he won't score many, the formation that gus is playing you need a drogba, Danny Graham ,Zamora type of player to make it work.
