What a load of old rubbish.
We are in exactly the same position we were before we played Everton and Chelsea ..... and we didn’t do too badly in either of those games.
One bad performance and suddenly we are flint to lose our remaining games .... I’d hate to be like you
Against the top sides we do this ... hence our better results have been against sides who attack us and leave us space.
Soon as teams get numbers behind the ball the first think we do is reduce our intensity and pace of how we move the ball.
I agree with a lot of what you say, we aren’t learning from our mistakes and there is a consistent pattern of results and performances against certain levels of teams which leaves me scratching my head wondering why we aren’t changing anything.
You are right that a huge issue we have is...
Too many players just not on it last night.
Whilst Maupay seems to be taking the brunt of the abuse for me Lallana and Welbeck need to have a look at themselves because they are either not good enough or just coasting.
Lallana clearly has ability but he continues to miss a good goal scoring...
What are you actually basing it on though.
Fulham are currently the worst form side in the league so it would be quite the change of fortunes to win 3 of their last 4 to stay up.
Confusion is probably that if you are behind the ball when it’s played you can’t be offside
If you are ahead of the ball when it’s played you are offside
So both have won 5 out of 33 all season
Fulham been on a poor run and unable to hold on to leads... West Brom taken apart midweek by Leicester.
But going to win 3 of their last 5
For example who are Fulham beating ?
Chelsea ? Man Utd ? Newcastle ?
Your right
But it’s a shame that games like tonight when we need to have Lallana and Welbeck set the bar they are often the most guilty of lowering it.
What are you actually basing that on apart from a huge knee jerk reaction after a terrible performance.
I’ve seen nothing in Fulham or WBA that makes me think they are going to win 3 from their last 5.
We quite simply lack a player who is able to unlock a team who play with 9 behind the ball.
Every time we face teams like this we become pedestrian, and have a lack of ideas and skill.
Your point might have been better made if you hadn’t mentioned AJ... who put in more effort and made more happen in his cameo than most of the others all night combined.
And it is also a very small amount of restricted view seats within the ground.
A quick look at the Barca website shows a much clearer view of the costs
