Player Ratings - Forest at home

Not bad mate, quite a likeness, but I would have liked to have seen him with a more bushy moustache and of course an orange codpiece.

[Cricket] Fourth Ashes Test - England v Australia - Trent Bridge

There was a Brighton flag from that angle behind Buttler there

[Cricket] Fourth Ashes Test - England v Australia - Trent Bridge

He is a really good batsman and I actually think he is one of our best. Concerning opening I think we should give Lyth the last test and I wouldn't have Ali opening against South Africa....I would choose a specialist opener, but if no one can cement the opening position (eg Lyth, Carberry...

[Cricket] Fourth Ashes Test - England v Australia - Trent Bridge

I do wonder if Moeen Ali might not be the answer to our opener problem...he opens for Worcester and also in our one day side? It would also really free up 8, allowing us to play a specialist spinner, seamer or batsman as the conditions require.

[Cricket] Fourth Ashes Test - England v Australia - Trent Bridge

I heard that yesterday, driving home. Utterly useless....he's bowled him.....no it's LBW.....big appeal though....it actually wasn't a good one (According to Glenn McGrath) there was an inside edge, too high and missing leg. We seem to have gone a long way from.....bowled him. He also called...

The establishment and historic child sex abuse

Couldn't agree more. The Greville Janner non prosecution is an utter disgrace and an affront to our judicial system. I don't care if he is on his death bed. Get him into court if the evidence is there to (potentially) convict.

The establishment and historic child sex abuse

Well they have proved (enough for convictions) allegations against Rolf Harris, Max Clifford and Stuart Hall for crimes that stretch back decades. Alleged victims whom now tend to be in their 40's and 50's come forward and are doing so more and more since the Jimmy Saville story broke 3+ years...

That would be an acceptable T20 start

[Cricket] Third Ashes Test - England v Australia - Edgbaston

When you have these low scores (130ish) to get, sometimes this is the best way.... to go for it. It throws the bowling side off and all their plans to build pressure go out of the window. C'mon England

[Cricket] Third Ashes Test - England v Australia - Edgbaston

Seeing the amount of turn that Lyon is getting and the swing and seam that our and the Aussie pace attack have got, you wouldn't want to have shelled out tickets for the 4th day

[Cricket] Third Ashes Test - England v Australia - Edgbaston

The thing is it was actually a modern day out given by Aleem Dar. That would never have been given 20 years ago (pre hawkeye) because the umpire would have said Buttler was too far forward. When I first saw it I thought (well hoped) it had pitched outside the line of leg (it hadn't, but if it...

[Cricket] Second Ashes Test - England vs Australia - Lords

Last week Oz were something like 92-2 and I drove into a tunnel. When you do that you lose reception (for a few mins, say approx an over). You wait for the score to come back, Blowers is on, so Australia are 92-3....(when they were actually 93-2). Queue punching of the air from me, get in...
