Maybe consolidation is the intent this season? Maybe we're all just looking at this with the previous 2 seasons tainting us. Maybe Bloom and Burkes entire idea is a year or two of bottom half scrapping while we boost our academy etc? Obviously they've not told Sami this from his response so far.

In that topic I was labelled a fake fan who is a massive bedwetter because I had some concerns about not having a strong and competitive squad for August...
