Does anyone have any experience of voice recognition software? I had some a few years ago, but I am sure it must have improved since then. We are looking because a student at the school I work at has severe arthritis, so finds writing difficult, especially in exams, using a laptop isn't much...

With GCSEs, the breaks are unlimited and as & when the candidate requires...I'm not sure what they are for any other exams. It could mean a 2 hour exam taking 5 hours, and I do know of schools where that has happened (but thankfully not mine!)
