Or after the game in 85, the one when Gerry Ryan had his leg broken...that was nasty, as was the collection of coins sent in our direction at half-time.
Yup, I am also struggling with that one...mabye the poster is a Rangers supporting bigot who can't stand anything to do with Celtic, it isn't as if the World is short of a few people like that!
Exactly.
I have now migrated to Virgin, as mentioned above, ran a speed-test and am getting the advertised 30 mBps on downloads. The main reason for doing this was because I was with O2, who used BT infrastructure, and at times couldn't connect to the internet at all.
Precisely this, with reference to the pins.
As I type this there are two men working downstairs from Virgin to install cable for my TV/Broadband and Phone. I will soon be rid of BT forever and should have something approaching 30 mBps broadband, instead of something up to about 5 and a...
682-6. That is a massive score and it isn't finished yet. The biggest England score I can remember was something like 660 and I reckon that must be at least 20 years ago.
Exactly, which is the reason I queried the original post about it kicking-off tonight in areas with high Muslim populations. At the moment it is roughly half-way through the holy month of Ramadan. Most Muslims will be at home scoffing their faces off, when most of the rioting seems to take...
Why?
I am not aware of any of the disturbances so far being in areas with a large Muslim population, most have been in the commercial areas of cities where few people actually live. Most of the pictures on tv have shown the perpetrators to be young and white or Afro-Caribbeans.
Judging by the pictures and reports from the trouble spots the rioters seem to be of all ages and ethnicities, which kind of shoots a big hole in the argument that this is any way directly related to racial issues.
I have been following the story, if there is rioting in the streets of Gloucester this evening I will not be sat in a pub waiting for action, I will be at home with my neighbours trying to protect our homes.
Thank you for your kind wishes.
Not a negative, at least they have recruited a Brummie to be the brains of the outfit!
So, they are going to meet in pubs and remain there until required. Sorry but I don't think a handful of Millwall fans, possibly fortified by alcohol, is going to do much more than aggravate any situation...
Only problem is the psychological damage to those who have had their homes torched or lost their jobs because their workplace has been razed to the ground!
Agreed, our football rivalry with Palace is something completely different, this anarchy affects everyone...regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity or any other characteristic you can think of...football rivalry doesn't even come into it.
