The problem is. It seems that there is no sell and reinvest policy. We sell and don't invest. That is why we have a much inferior squad now than at any time since we arrived at the Amex. The fact that we are also told that this squad costs more than previously is the biggest worry. It proves...
According to the Argus today Quote " It is currently the Argus's understanding that there is no substance to talk of BZ's return to the Albion" Now whilst they are about as much in the Dark as the fan's normally, I would have thought that they may be a little more in the know than some of the...
I understand what you are saying and there is an element of risk with Bobby coming back. However, he will put a few more bums on seats and I think Baldock or even Colunga playing off him, as Austin did at QPR, would be an interesting combination. I just hope if we sign him, we dont try playing...
Bloody Hell, we are really going down the pan if this is the calibre of player we are looking at. That's one step down on O'Grady and Baldock last year. And people are complaining about us trying to get Zamora back.
To be fair he has come on in the second half and looks one of our better midfielders. I have been a big critic of his this season, but cant help but think he was played out of position a lot of the time. He certainly fits into Englands play and does not look out of place. You might have written...
If he does turn out to be Jones successor then we know the club are doing things on the cheap. Replacing a coach who has just been coaching with England under 21's with someone who has very little coaching experience at any level. As Under 16 or Under 18 coach maybe a good appointment.
That's exactly as I see it too. No impact in the dressing room only on the training ground after Calderwood came in. Unfortunately you can only coach the players so much. Once handed over to the manager on match days it is down to him to pick the team and tactics. Buck stops at Hughton and...
If he has any sense he will go for it if offered it. He must be as frustrated as any of the fans, seeing how far backwards we have gone since moving in to the Amex stadium. Only time will tell if he will make a good manager, but he has every chance. We have let a lot of good players slip through...
Either way we are supposedly paying high wages for C**p players. If we are reputedly paying our players such high figures then we really are screwed and as we all know we panic brought last year as we didn't have a side to put out when the season started. If the same happens this year there are...
Not getting too excited. He looks far too good for us. He will be premiership bound. I hope I am proved wrong as if he can link up with a new pacy centre forward then I would evaluate our promotion chances.
Not sure it is about the amount of money pumped in. It just proves that it how the money is spent. Derby obviously got more value for money. If we spent even more last season it goes to prove that whoever is doing the negotiations is making a pigs ear of it. We certainly did not get value for...
I hope we have signed Akindayini as he looks the sort of young player that we should be signing. Too many players in our DS are lightweight and the one position we should be looking to bring through are young strikers. Will look forward to pre season if he is involved.
Walton hasn't had a great deal to do to be fair, but the England defence is woeful. Iorfa was awful and England have arguably played better since he got sent off.
My concern was the quality of our loans last season. Loan Players should be better than what we have got or why sign them. I would rather have seen some DS players in the squad than the likes of Leon Best and Gardner. In fact I would rather have seen a DS player starting instead of Best.
