Did exactly the same for our son and daughter. Kept the money in a separate Building Soc. account and returned it to them with the interest when they set home. It seems to me the way to help and teach them the value of money and how to budget.

In The Times yesterday it was reported that no UK banks would open an account for him.

Not supporting NF in anyway but you have to wonder about all these banks - they seem to open accounts so easily for scammers.

Bird song in general - but my absolute favourite is the song of the Ortolan Bunting. As a point of interest Ludwig van Beethoven was enthralled by its song he based the opening bars of his 5th symphony upon its song.
