I would argue that anyone that considers themself an 'ultra' in England would act in a similar way to other ultras - much the same way that people stereotype all hooligans to have similar mindframes.

Areas of it are, indeed. But it isn't written into a footballer's contract that they have to live in the city/town in which the football club is based. Plenty of surrounding areas that are equally as pleasant as Brighton.

Gunna back the minority and say I think the sentences are ridiculous. How many people on here can say they haven't been involved in some form of violence before? As many others have said, it's purely down to the fact they are attached to football. Worrying really.
