Irrespective of whether this info is correct, surely the club can see that not mentioning there is no transport for the Newport game when selling the tickets is an absolute disgrace. I can just see loads of fans standing at bus stops waiting for non-existent buses, being refused entry to the...
Depends how you use it I suppose. All the supermarkets, petrol stations and hotels accept it, as well as a load of on-line retailers and of course the Amex.
I usually manage to rack up over a grand per month on my Amex card and only have to use a mastercard for perhaps a hundred or two, so it...
Having looked again I think your right, :tantrum:. Oh well it was a nice thought. I see that it says on-line transactions are excluded as well so the best I can hope for is £5 if I top up at the Amex. Thought it must be too good to be true.
I haven't tried this yet but unless I'm mistaken can I just add £10 a day to my e-cash card using my Amex CC for 10 days and therefore get a £50 credit. Add in the 10% discount you get when using the card and even the 200 nectar points I get when topping up, (worth another £1), I'm getting £100...
I think I paid 6d (2.5p), when I first stood on the Chicken Run but that was probably a kiddies price in 1953. I think it doubled to 1 shilling, (5p), when I was 16
Well I've tried both the Bridge, (last year), and the Uni the first season. This year I'm going back to the Uni because its marginally nearer the ground, (especially if you arrive early and park in car parks 4 or 5), and its easier to get away from at the end. Unless you leave before the end of...
If they have had their young, (always 3 chicks by the way), theres nothing you can do until they can fly. After that then you can have the nest removed and netting put up to stop future nestings.
I left it too late and now have the noisy *******s on my roof. My cat has taken early retirement...
Thanks for that, so I guess it must be just me. I don't think its anything to do with the club ticket site being down because when you log onto the e-cash site your directed away from the club site and I think its independent.
Anyway I will give it a day or two and then contact the club if its...
I thought I would just check on-line and see what my smart card balance was the new season, but every time I try and log on I get the message that my fan number/card number or password are incorrect. I know there not because I use Roboform to auto-fill these boxes but even so I checked them all...
Your right, it doesn't use WiFi, just everyone's mobile network. Was a bit patchy for me last season though it got better towards the end of the season. I thought it a bit heavy on battery use too but hopefully some of this will be ironed out for next season.
Now how many times have you desperately used the "we got rained on" excuse for your 6000 crowds at the Withdean, Phallus?
You wonder why we only got 6000 or so at the Withdean. Here's what the Observer said having visited it:
Capacity 6,960, Built 1930, Prices £22
· 'Has to be the worst in...
I don't know what happened or why, but something certainly did around January because Gus seemed to change. Perhaps he wasn't given the funds in January he wanted, who knows. What was pretty obvious was that he seemed to lack the enthusiasm at matches, often sitting there with his arms crossed...
No offence taken my friend. Just healthy banter. I think driving is one of those things where we all think were right, (and are probably usually wrong!), so I agree we all have different opinions. Mind you if you think my drivings bad, you should see my old lady's.

Ok folks, I know when I'm beaten. Fortunately we all support the same football team so we probably agree on something. I promise that in future I will stay in the left hand lane unless merely overtaking and will immediately return to said lane at the earliest...
Why is it right for me to have to change lanes to allow you to break the law. Could you give me the statistics that show that staying in the middle lane at 70 is much more dangerous than you breaking the law by exceeding the speed limit. In other words you want me to change lanes so not to...
God, I must have landed on the planet Zog. Look 70 mph is the legal maximum, (yes?), that is considered by law to be the safest maximum, (yes?), so how am I the problem when people want to go faster than that, (and can of course go into the third lane to break the law and get past me). What...
Look, you want me to move to the left hand lane, (advisory), so you can whizz past at 70+ thus breaking the law. You do of course have the right hand lane if you wish to carry out that activity. In the meantime you want me to weave in and out of the slow lane so you can carry on your illegal...
Look mate I understand what your saying BUT how am I causing a dangerous hazard by driving at the legal maximum. I would argue that consistently switching lanes at 70 mph is more of a hazard than staying in the middle lane.
