This game is more important than playing Man Utd, Liverpool or Spurs. It's a six pointer, and we're throwing it away.
So I'm curious why CH decided not to go with our strongest line up as usual, and rest players in those games against the Big Six sides which we are likely to lose anyway.
McGhee keeping us up in the Championship in 2004-05 with the squad and resources he had, would arguably be a bigger achievement than if Hughton keeps our side in the Premier League at the end of this season. We were really punching above our weight as a club when McGhee was manager.
Murray is good enough, but old.
Hemed had an OK start before his suspension, but the jury is still out if he is good enough at this level.
So yes, we need another striker.
We played QPR at home at Withdean early in the 2003-04 season. Leon Knight was on loan for us before we signed him permanently. He would go on to be the league's top goal scorer as we won promotion via the play offs. But I can't remember if we won 1-0 or 2-1 that day.
We haven't seen the best of Izquierdo yet. As Hughton said post match, Izq is playing catch up from not having a preseason, being signed at the end of the transfer window, and having to adjust to the Premier League/English football. Give him time and hopefully he will come good.
I missed out on the NES Mini, but preordered the SNES Mini, and will pick it up tomorrow.
Hoping in 2018 the NES Mini will be available again and Nintendo produces enough units to meet demand.
Bournemouth - if they play like they did in their last home match (against Man City, where they were unlucky to lose), it will be very difficult for us. Hopefully we can get 1 point.
Newcastle - type of game we should win if we want to stay up. 3 points.
Arsenal - everyone know's Arsenal's...
No it wasn't. You are reading into it too much. My comment was more about Mat Ryan. I wasn't trying to make a stereotype but you have your own preconceived notions about Japanese people so you interpreted it that way.

It's not a racial stereotype, you read it that way. Australia were playing Japan.
Ryan is very short for a goal keeper. You see that in the PL, and it was also evident in that WC qualifier.
Really pleased with this signing. Krul was a top class keeper.
Ryan hasn't exactly inspired confidence and his height is a concern.
Watched Japan vs Australia today and Ryan looked shorter than many of the Japanese players.
