[Football] Swansea v Palace: what do you want?

I'd like to see a draw, so they can both "do an Albion" and throw two points away just like we have been doing in some key home fixtures.

[Albion] Brighton & Hove Albion vs Burnley *** Official Match Thread ***

We are going to lose this game. Not taken advantage and will regret it later.

[Albion] Are you keeping the faith in Hughton?

Apart from his bizarre decision to rest players and field a weakened side in the all important Huddersfield match, he hasn't done too much wrong.

[Albion] Is this the first big question mark over Hughton's managerial ability?

This game is more important than playing Man Utd, Liverpool or Spurs. It's a six pointer, and we're throwing it away. So I'm curious why CH decided not to go with our strongest line up as usual, and rest players in those games against the Big Six sides which we are likely to lose anyway.

Because they will soon overtake us at this rate.

This is a relegation six pointer and we show no fight. Making it easy for Huddersfield.

    [Albion] Mark McGhee

McGhee keeping us up in the Championship in 2004-05 with the squad and resources he had, would arguably be a bigger achievement than if Hughton keeps our side in the Premier League at the end of this season. We were really punching above our weight as a club when McGhee was manager.

[Albion] Have we had the "do we still need a striker in January" thread yet?

Murray is good enough, but old. Hemed had an OK start before his suspension, but the jury is still out if he is good enough at this level. So yes, we need another striker.

[Albion] The scoreline at your first ever Brighton game

We played QPR at home at Withdean early in the 2003-04 season. Leon Knight was on loan for us before we signed him permanently. He would go on to be the league's top goal scorer as we won promotion via the play offs. But I can't remember if we won 1-0 or 2-1 that day.

    [Albion] Izquierdo - Lua Lua

We haven't seen the best of Izquierdo yet. As Hughton said post match, Izq is playing catch up from not having a preseason, being signed at the end of the transfer window, and having to adjust to the Premier League/English football. Give him time and hopefully he will come good.

    SNES Classic Mini

I missed out on the NES Mini, but preordered the SNES Mini, and will pick it up tomorrow. Hoping in 2018 the NES Mini will be available again and Nintendo produces enough units to meet demand.

    Next 4 fixtures.

Bournemouth - if they play like they did in their last home match (against Man City, where they were unlucky to lose), it will be very difficult for us. Hopefully we can get 1 point. Newcastle - type of game we should win if we want to stay up. 3 points. Arsenal - everyone know's Arsenal's...

Tim Krul *signed* on season long loan subject to medical

No it wasn't. You are reading into it too much. My comment was more about Mat Ryan. I wasn't trying to make a stereotype but you have your own preconceived notions about Japanese people so you interpreted it that way. Ryan is very short for a goalkeeper, and this showed in the Japan vs...

Tim Krul *signed* on season long loan subject to medical

It's not a racial stereotype, you read it that way. Australia were playing Japan. Ryan is very short for a goal keeper. You see that in the PL, and it was also evident in that WC qualifier.

Tim Krul *signed* on season long loan subject to medical

Really pleased with this signing. Krul was a top class keeper. Ryan hasn't exactly inspired confidence and his height is a concern. Watched Japan vs Australia today and Ryan looked shorter than many of the Japanese players.
