Solly played for 45 mins last night for the u23s so I'd expect to see him somewhere (probably on the subs bench)

From the few times that I have seen him play I'd say he has every chance of being a very very good player indeed. Whilst we're talking about the u23 team let's not forget Romaric Yapi who has the potential to be a very good right back. I would hope to see him in the squad for next season if not...

And they replayed the bloody goals endlessly after the match. I went with a mate of mine who's a Carlisle fan and he had to get back to Tooting to go out with his (then) girl friend. The police wouldn't let us out and when we did eventually get out we were marched by sinister looking SPG types...

Since he's supposed to be out for the rest of the season I'd rather hope not ! I do like the idea of Giroud,Batshuayi or Iheanacho though but I'd imagine wages would be an issue.

I didn't think Bong was any worse than anybody else to be honest Balogun was certainly poorer than him but these players haven't played a competitive match in a while so they're not particularly up to speed at present

Makes sense with a week's break before the next game and helps give the players some much needed rest - some have been looking knackered.

I think that there is a half decent player in there struggling to get out but I'm quite mystified why he hasn't had more than one u23 outing (a few weeks ago now)just to get him up to speed.

I thought Gross was poor today but a lot of the team looked a little jaded - we're not used to playing Thursday and Sunday and they were a bit tired. I'm sure they will be fired up for the Palace game - shame we'll be missing Stephens who is starting to show to the fans what every manager has...
