[Albion] Albion player's who never reached potential

Joe Getting - scored for fun in the reserves but not for the first team Jonah Ayunga - signed from Beaminster Town for £40K and looked like a real prospect. Never played for the first team and is now at Bristol Rovers. Still only 23

[Albion] Albion player's who never reached potential

I 100% agree about Dave Clarkson He was superb in the game against Crawley in the FA Cup- him and Chappers bossed the midfield - think he went back to Australia

[Albion] Albion player's who never reached potential

I was at that game - blisteringly hot day and the first game of the season away at Reading.Thought he was going to be IT for us.

[Travel] Oddest Street Name Near You

I always enjoyed one in Paris - "Rue de le chat qui peche" which I think roughly translates as "The street of the cat that fishes" Admittedly it's nowhere near me but . . . My nearest "funny" street name is probably Cockshot Hill which, compared to some on here, is very weak.

[Football] Which highly-rated players do you think are rubbish?

Zaha, Grealish, Pickford, Mings, Richarlison, Lamela, Declan Rice, de Gea, Henderson, Matt Ritchie, Shelvey, Luiz

    [Albion] Is Southampton the model?

Grealish ! Come to a little club like Brighton ! No chance - we couldn't contain his ego. Like zaha there is a good player in there but it's being held in check by his massive ego. He will, I'm sure, be sold this summer but he won't come to us - he'd last about five minutes before Potter binned...

Is this going a bit too far?

Exactly but the way that things seem to be spiralling I'm sure that the name will become questioned ?

Is this going a bit too far?

Completely and utterly wrong It was the name of a much loved pet in the 1940s - what possible exception could anyone take now ? You CANNOT, nor should you try to, rewrite history. Will they try and change the name of the village of "Blackboys" next ?

[Albion] What to do with Trossard?

I think he's shown flashes of what he can do for most of the season but he's had a bad injury. The post lockdown Trossard is infinitely better than the pre lockdown Trossard - perhaps he's fully fit now. I certainly think he is an asset even if he does look like Robbie Williams.

“Be careful what you wish for Brighton fans” - How the football world owes us an apology

We do, of course, have to be grateful to Chris Hughton and I am. He got us to the Premier League and he kept us in it. But the football, at times, was turgid. Does anyone remember the game away at Spurs where we almost got a point but where Eriksen scored in something like the 88th minute...
