A bit daft that we have to take these decisions before a new manager comes in, but I guess that's what happens when your manager leaves because you've undermined his authority two years in a row. Clearly no lessons learned from last year - smacks of arrogance on behalf of the powers that be.
Interesting bit from me is where he says the next manager will have the same responsibilities as Oscar and Gus. This suggests that nothing will change on the transfer front, which worries me as it's led to the last two managers leaving.
Couldn't agree more. I can't think of anyone who'd want to manage a team when they were not allowed to target the players they knew about and wanted to bring to the club.
I'm still not 100% convinced by Oscar, but this thread is ludicrous. We played well tonight, I think Oscar managed the team very well, and we are still in with a real shout if we match that level of performance on Sunday.
Yes, I have. There have been mistakes from him, as there have been from others. But overall I feel he has been very good and formed one of the best defensive partnerships in the league. To suggest he is "useless" is quite patently ridiculous and suggests that you are an idiot.
