The ref was so bad - it’s good we won otherwise it sounds like sour grapes, but he did everything he could to stop us winning. An enormous City bias on every decision. Terrible performance.

It doesn't matter how fast a defender is in a straight race, if the forward has started running in his own half to chase a long pass, and if our defender has to turn on the half way line and then start running, there is zero chance of catching the forward.

Petra is wonderful. Dead sea is also a great experience. Red Sea coast is nice. The capital is decent too. Really enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend it, but not sure I would go now with the middle east situation.

Barco has had some experience in this league, this guy hasnt yet. Until he settles (hopefully and assuming he actually signs!) I wouldnt rush to thin out fullbacks

I dont see loaning out fullbacks as a great idea, we are a few inuries/suspensions away from a crisis in defence. That said he wasnt picked for the Everton match so I guess isnt viewed that well by the new manager.

It seems odd to turn down the Arsenal contract (with a loan out) to come to Brighton and have a loan out - he looked very good in preseason.
