    Chris Cornell RIP

I could list so many great tracks he recorded, everything he did was unbelievably good. Just listen to some of his live acoustic stuff to realise what an amazing voice he had. Temple of the dog is one of my all time favourite albums. Soundgarden were amazing, Audioslave were amazing. A true...

    BBC iPlayer Recommendations?

This Country is well worth a watch. Made me laugh a lot. Its a fly on the wall style documentary following a couple of yong people living in a village in the cotswolds. Very funny.

    Royal Blood - Concorde tonight

They should do a suprise set pre match on saturday on the bandstand. That would be amazing.

    Royal Blood - Concorde tonight

I considered getting up early and heading down but as it was only 1 ticket per person it would have meant going to the gig on my own this evening so decided to stay in bed instead.

Tiny details about the PREMIER LEAGUE that you can't wait for...

Hearing post match interviews when the likes of Klopp, Conte etc are saying "with all due respect we should be beating teams like Brighton" after we have knicked a cheeky 1-0 win. Its been a while since we've been the underdog.

What's the right age to let your children listen to swearing in music/films?

My 9 year old hears swear words and tells me when she does as she doesn't like it. My 12 year old comes to football with me and has done since he was 4 so has heard more than his fair share of swear words. he knows not to repeat things he hears in front of his mother.

Dinosaur Jr or Sebadoh? How to distract yourself from matters of consequence.

Dinosaur Jr were the first band I saw live in a proper gig, so they hold a special place for me but Sebadoh were just better all round, Skull still features in my all time fav tunes playlists.

Advice needed on investing vs savings / mortgage

I'm in an investment quandry at the moment. Mortgage has recently been paid off after years of serious overpayment so I am deciding what to do with my new found wealth, at the moment it seems to be going on more extravagant living expenses and a little going into a savings account. I've no idea...

Anybody Else Getting Just A Wee Bit Bored Of Pop Tart Ed Sheeran?

I listened to his album purely out of interest as to what all the hype was about. I still don't get what the hype is about, its a very average pop record with nothing that made me think "wow this guys is a genius". Very boring music with little to engage with. That said the missus and the...

Reaction to a thrashing .. and getting over it

The kids Under13s team I manage has been on the end of a few beatings, not really bad but bad enough we lost 6-1 last week for example. In the post match briefing rather than dwelling on the game we've just been involved in, I tend to focus on the next game and how we can respond positively to...

    Bridge car park

My son broke his ankle and managed from Bridge car park to the east stand, took a bit longer than it would have done without crutches but he was ok. Knackered by the time he got tot the stadium but he made it.

Have you ever found any interesting items?

I moved into a flat when I was younger and the loft was empty apart from a really knackered old looking suitcase. When I got it out and opened it up it had loads of old 60s newspapers used to wrap up toys. THe strange thing was the toys were more like 80s style plastic toys. Very strange...

    Amazon Echo / Alexa music

I use mine a lot, mainly for controlling my Hive stuff. I have it set up so I can turn all my lights and heating on and off using Alexa. I have it linked to Spotify and plugged into my Sonos so use it to play music without my phone. It is a bit of a Gimmick but a useful one. Everything I do...

Band(s) you wished you had seen but never will, and band(s) you saw and wished you hadn't!

Wish I'd seen - Bob Marley, Queen Wish I hadn't - Ian Brown (Solo) as a Roses fan it was very very disappointing.

    Multi room speakers

Definitelty another vote for Sonos. We have a play 5 in the lounge which is plenty loud enough to fill the room with great sound, a play 3 in the bedroom which is almost too much but they didn't do play 1s when we got ours. And we have play 1s for the kids. All work perfectly and sound great...

    Gig Ticket Help

I'm going to the O2 tonight to a gig which says along the lines of photo ID of the lead booker must be shown as you enter. Will report back as to whether they actually check my ID on the way in or as I suspect I will just show my ticket and be in.

Spotify and Sonos Users - Glad Tidings

I've been using this for the past month or so on the Sonos beta program and it is occasionally a bit iffy but generally works well. Once in a while the phone won't connect in spotify but if I kill the app and then start it again that seems to kick it into life.
