Just got back. Terrible display once again, apart from Nash and Joyce with the bat. soft bowling again and i dont know what yardys field settings were up to. We actually left with 7 overs to go with them only needing 25.
I fear for us against title chasing Durham next week and I dont fancy us...
I was planning to go to this aswell. Not overjoyed with a tuesday. Thats better than a thursday tv game though as im also at Sussex V India and it would have been a rush.
Interesting its deffo a tuesday tho. If you look in the back of our programme where the fixtures and reults are printed it...
Absolutley brilliant stage today, And it still remains unpredictable. Has to be said a great ride by schleck, and Voeckler to hang on. Its a straight fight between Andy Schleck and Evans, with the latter possibly triumphing as Schleck doesnt have enough time on him, Evans is the better at time...
As a sky fan im absolutley gutted for Wiggo, this was possibly his best chance to finish in the top 3 of the GC. Been on top form after winning the duphine, so its a terrible shame.
Im not sure what sky will do now, hopefully swifty can pull of a win in the flat stages and Thommo can get back...
Im afraid I cant see past contador for the win (if the way he rode in the giro is anything to go by). Although he shouldnt be in it imho. Im hoping that my team (sky) can also pick up a few stage wins. Ben swift looks a good bet and i think Thomas could be a dark horse to do well in the GC...
Very true mate, you are talking about the team that were expected (by the bookies, pundits and thier fans) to walk this division at the start of the sesaon. Still, if their happy struggling to 2nd spot then thats fine!
One of my favorate episodes was serise 3 (undobtedly the best series) 'Healthy competiton'. The one where rodney goes into a partnership with mickey pearce and they buy those broken lawnmower engines. Grandads line about the "wendy house" was an absolute classic.
"Wanted" was the another...
Lets look at the bigger picture shall we. Looking back on it, No-one is going to remember the fact that Southampton won a meaningless (to us) match on st georges day 2011. What they will remember is that we were the cahampions of league one by a runnaway margin. End of.
I think it will be either Daggenham at home or at Wallsall. I'd love it (To quote Kevin Keegan) if we secured the champoinship before we play Southampton. It means they would have to give us a guard of honnor, can you imagine the look on Nigel Adkins' face!
