It might come as a shock to you but mods don't read every single thread on the board. If someone is compelled enough to report a thread to a moderator, then action may or may not be taken. I removed the DtG thread as someone complained, and I decided the thread was adding no value to the board.

In my opinion phones should not be permitted in schools at all - they are nothing but a distraction. They are irritating enough in an office full of adults, let alone a classroom full of kids. The school our child attends does not allow any child to take a phone to school unless they live more...
