Given that the BoE have only moved rates by a quarter of a percent at a time then they will effectively have to raise rates almost every month from now to be at that level in 2 years time. Given most analysts expect at most 1-2 rises to 1% by the end of the year this is just a little scaremongering.

With the HD channels as the standard now I have noticed much more an issue with synchronisation of sound and pictures - with the sound about a quarter of second behind the pictures which is really annoying - but only on some channels and worse on ones like comedy central.

to be fair there is a lot of stuff on the web with people having similarly misheard Mason for Megson - I go back to my original claim that its all the fault of Alan Brazil's accent (although still not sure about the West Brom manager line)

Unless Gary Megson took up boxing in the last year or two they definitely referred to his boxing career and given Brazil's accent Megson and Mason sound quite similar
