I hope you’re right. Sadly, a “friend” of mine was at the Tintagel Reform event in the Twitter thread you posted. This is the “friend“ whose step-son is standing for Labour in Camborne and Redruth.
Wearing my “Stand or Fall” t-shirt and waiting for Shoreham’s own Wellington Wailers to start singing at the Falmouth Sea Shanty Festival. 😊
(Full disclosure... I’ve just been singing “Trelawny”, and feel like I’ve been a bit unfaithful. 😔)
My friend’s son is standing for Labour in Camborne and Redruth…
… my friend’s wife (not the candidate’s mother) has decided she’s supporting Reform.
Must be some interesting family discussions. 😲
Another year on, and the Beeb report that Tommy Banks died the other day, aged 94.
That makes Bill the oldest former FA Cup winner at 92, and the longest surviving.
Spoke to him briefly yesterday, and he’s still got a smile on his face. 🙂
There’s quite a low path all the way to Agia Marina, although not much more than a track after you leave Pedi. You’d be aware that you were heading around the bay, rather than over the hills to Symi town. But yes, i suspect he fell at some point,
Unlikely - if you turn right you follow the bay round to Agia Marina, where he was found. Symi town is directly over the hills on a road, and you would immediately see the difference, so I doubt Symi town was his intended destination. We were there in early June 1992 and did the Symi-Pedi walk...
Yeah, love my battery mower, leaf blower, strimmer and hedge trimmer. My collection started with a blue flash and a pop on the final hedge cut of the season. :ROFLMAO:
