    Has Sammi offered his resignation?

So how does that fit in with the speculation that Ward will sign shortly. He's never seen him play live and he can only guess whether he will fit into the new system, although I do expect he can as he has played in a variety of positions at Wolves. Much as I will be happy if Ward signs, I can't...

    3-5-2

Man United have apparently been using Valencia and Young as wing backs not orthodox full backs like Calde and Bruno. Both pressed forward admirably on Saturday and did their best, but having run 60 yards up the pitch, they then had no idea how to get past the opposing full back. The point of the...

    Football Manager 2015

Is this where David Burke gets his info from then?? And I thought FM was just a game! http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/11/football-manager-computer-game-premier-league-clubs-buy-players

Religion takes us to war.....yet again

ISIS, as Sunnis, are presumably funded by the Saudis/Egypt/UAE/Qatar as they are the main Sunni states? It must be some of these countries but I don't suppose we will impose sanctions on them any time soon as we want their investment(perhaps not Egypt, but the other 3)? The problem in Iraq was...

I been seeing speculation on social media that Glenn Murray is coming back...

They seem to have done a deal with a 76 year old Thai businesswoman! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28639388

Lewis Dunk signs for four more years

He's too soft, easy to play against and hasn't got that slighly nasty streak that centre halves need. Not a bad player at all but £ 20 from me to REMF if his next move is to a club higher than the Albion. A decent 3rd choice but nothing more imo.

    Jacob Mellis

Yes, more Barnsley players please. Have they got a goalie and left back? Where did they finish last season?

Lewis Dunk signs for four more years

Both of those are better and more reliable than Dunk. They were wanted by another team and have done well with far more championship games under their belts. Sorry to be negative but he is still 3rd choice and will not feature much for the first team this season.

    Hyypia starting to get frustrated

Fine, happy with "at the start of the season", but most on here seem to think that means at the end of the transfer window. Not the same thing at all.

    Hyypia starting to get frustrated

What ever TB might say, the fact is that at the moment we haven't got a competitive squad, we have an ok first eleven and that's it. We have lost 10 or 11 from the squad since last Jan and brought 4 in. Every one knows we need to add to the squad, we can put out a competitive 11 but as showed...

Tax credit , is wonderfull .

Well the UK tax gap as estimated by HMRC was £35billion for 2011/12, of which they estimate just £4b is tax avoidance with evasion including crime and the hidden economy coming in at around £15b. These are HMRc's own figures which, as anyone working in the industry knows are likely to be on the...

Britain and our place in world football

I agree that poor coaching can lead to poor concentration, but the problem with the England team at the WC was simply a lack of proper organisation of the defensive unit. None of our defenders seemed to have any real responsibility to defend, it was just a matter of luck if they were...

[Albion] I hope something happens today

Presumably we have to wait until the Celtic, West Brom, Saints vacancies have been filled as all most of the names in the betting for our vacancy are likely to be interested in those jobs, then we get whoever is left over! If we held interviews last week as has been reported, then assuming we...

Bloom - you reap what you sow

I don't think anyone wants us to be like QPR, but Burnley are a good example, a good solid squad that had made progress under the previous manager and the just made signings where they knew they were a bit short. Barnes was brought in to beef up an already good strike force, but that sale...

    Reading and Admin

That is a really interesting article and most of it could be written about BHA at the present. A club with some debt, a chairman funding infrastructure, tight control of finances by senior management, playing within their means. At Reading, eventually Madejski decided it was time to move on and...

    Albion summer camp in Spain

Any more news on the tour? Was told that there may have been some info in the programme from the Yeovil game, anyone see it and did it confirm the dates ?

    Oscar

Well that explains the change in performance yesterday then. The players have obviously decided that they will play the way that they want and ignore Oscar as he's off in the Summer, so they feel safe to ignore him now!
