Maybe they’ll start unravelling Brexit closer to the next general election, as a shamelessly popular appeal to the electorate. Imagine the irony of that.
As a US citizen I submitted my postal vote today. Won’t make a blind bit of difference in the state where I vote but if the orange loon wins at least I know I did my little bit.
Brexit is taboo because the fact that the bigoted and xenophobic views which drove it are so widespread is also a huge taboo. IMHO.
Hard to tackle that when the whole shitfest was driven by a huge percentage of the people who have just voted you in.

Exactly the same here. Which makes his weird semi-divine cult status amongst some all the more baffling (but not unamusing at times). I think he’s real “but the emperor isn’t wearing any clothes” stuff and thought long that before Chelsea called him up. And now he’s clearly been found out.
