[Help] A Request for Help ....

A disease that touches one in three of us, yet it takes desperately sad stories like this to bring home the brutal poignancy of it all.

[Food] Bean to cup coffee machines

As used by my old mother-in-law. She was Italian. But conventional wisdom is that coffee beans should never be exposed to boiling water. Instead, 93C is about right. And those appalling mocha-type pots work by forcing bubbling, boiling water through the ground coffee. So, all that time, that...

[Food] Bean to cup coffee machines

I'm with disgruntled h-blocker here. Mine's a pre-2016 Gaggia Classic (no perfect crema widget for me!), and a Sage Smart Grinder Pro - excellent espresso results, total outlay circa £450. Current bean of choice: Waitrose Italian. But coffee's all a matter of personal preferences, and the...

[Albion] Allez, Allez, Allez Song ...??

Well, gave 'em something to do, now that alloys have all but seen off hubcaps.

So I'll guess sending and receiving birthday cards is not for you.

[Football] A thread full of ONLY good things about CH

Absolutely spot on. My view entirely. However... "ONE of the most successful"? CH was responsible for THE most successful period in the club's history. Ever. And that is Chris Hughton's rightful, enduring legacy.

[Albion] What changes would you like to see at the AMEX, when we return in August?

And including opposition goals too, please! Gets boring having nothing to watch all game.

[Albion] Dale Stephens named in Shane Duffy’s Dream Eleven

Agree totally. Any PL player should be able to pass the ball reliably to a teammate just a few yards away. A basic technical skill requirement. Having said that, who flighted that wonderful, inch-perfect diagonal crossfield pass to AK for his magical goal of the season up at Selhurst? Our...

[Albion] What changes would you like to see at the AMEX, when we return in August?

I've grown rather to like the natural sage look. Perhaps those grass bunds we were being promised originally are now evolving organically, thanks to mother nature. How very Brighton. Besides which, blue roofs would now look somewhat, well, vulgar.

[Albion] What changes would you like to see at the AMEX, when we return in August?

I've grown rather to like the natural sage & barley look. Perhaps those grass bunds we were being promised originally are now evolving organically, thanks to mother nature. How very Brighton. Besides which, blue roofs now would look somewhat, well, vulgar.

    [Albion] Pablo Machin

Pablo Machin? Sounds frightfully exotic, sign 'im up! Nah, second thoughts. Probably son of Ernie.

POOR effort. You really can't post as bhadebenhams, but then go on to rehash yet another ERNEST rant. For PITY'S sake man, stay in CHARACTER!

[Albion] Norwich City - back off

Sorry, I read it as "For to me to live is Chris, and to die is gain" [ Besides,. 'Dying as gain' does come over a bit Islamic State, IMHO. ]

[Albion] Were the club right to sack Chris Hughton now?

A hugely reluctant yes from me. But couldn't the announcement have been dressed up as mutual consent, with Chris - having achieved so much with the Albion - eager to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere...?

"I hope the footballing community as a whole appreciate how important it is that City win. A post on City's Bluemoon forum. (one of many in similar vein) That's it for me. I'm sure we'd all be utterly devastated if our team somehow conspired to prevent that from happening. Do your duty, Chris!

[News] POLL TIME - Danny Baker’s tweet

'fraid not. In 2019, the only people actually possessing colour are 'people of colour' - geddit? The fact that their lobbying body in the USA is called 'The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People' is just there to demonstrate beyond all doubt that Americans simply don't do...
