No. No there are certainly not scientific 'theories' about id. There is pseudo-scientific rubbish made up by frauds like hovind and ken ham and peddaled by liars like creation ministries international and aig.
The hypothesis of id is not verifiable nor is it falsifiable so it does not qualify...
In which case the designer is not omnipotent. If it were then surely it would have created everything perfect in the first place and evolution would be unecessary.
So why call it god?
OL, i hadn't read this thread again until today. But I notice that pea has no cite for their claim that "between 39% and 52%* of scientists don't believe a God" so I actually feel free to disregard it as a made up claim and would suggest others do also.
There are also some theories that people who believe that kind of crap are loonies who should really be receiving 24 hours supervision and should not be allowed to handle sharp objects.
I mean, do people REALLY believe that the Egyptians were so advanced they had a form of electricity...
Ok, I do understand that.
But I do not, and never will (as I suspect you have guessed tbh), accept that, in anyway, as any kind of evidence that a god of any kind exists.
I'm out of this one again, off to listen to lympics. Enjoy your weekend OL.
I'm actually not challenged tbh. I can already see you are a highly intelligent person and I suspect I would rather enjoy meeting you for a pint and a chat - no joke. I just find it somewhat strange that you believe in an intangible entity based on no more than a feeling you once had.
If I...
I do not believe your figure. Do you have a citation for it please?
And pull out your quote mines all you want. einstein was an atheist no matter how much the gullible try to quote mine his comments to 'show' he was not. Give me a quote of his, I will give you the quote in context which...
A physcicist by the name of Stephen Hawking says that he does not believe in god, mine trumps yours as he is FAR more famous and has far more scientific publications, rather than creationist ones that is, to his name.

We are not enslaved in any way at all. The people this Anti-Slavery - Bonded Labour
organisation fights for are enslaved. Not us in the UK or the rich west. Pathetic claim to be honest and we all know it.
I bet that Brunswick is also one of these idiotic 'freemen on the land' as well who...
It depends if you like hardcore punk - sort of of the crass type - or not. I happen to and I find their music quite enjoyable, can't understand a sodding word though.
He was also wrong about needing planing permission to erect a shed or garage. And the fact that you had to pay for 'licences', you don't. They are entirely voluntary in every case I know of. I know of no compulsory licence anywhere in this country.
This coming from someone who subscribes to conspiracy theories of the kind posited by those who post an out of context clip of a sports commentator to a team of atheletes in which they are described as being part of a new world order of athletes. Who posts videos of unsubstantiated claims from...
I fell very much the same. I gave up 'supporting' the England football team a long time ago because of the knuckle dragging jingoism associated with too many of the followers quite honestly.
This Team GB thing has me almost crying with joy and happiness for people I have never met doing sports...
So these all powerful people who intend to enslave us all and control google AND the web have allowed independent search engines to flourish? You don't really think things through at times do you.
