I started to pick my gigs carefully after around 79 (after the nonsense at the Specials, Madness etc.). Then in 82 I moved to Vancouver where there was never any trouble at gigs (Big Country, Chris and Cosey, Legendary pink dots). Didn't see any live music in the UK again till around 92 and have...

I would pay good money to see Johnny Marr with Rick Astley. The latter's festival set was brilliant.
