Yet if he had kept his line and touched raikkonen he would be out of the race! He did what was necessary imo and with this element of doubt I cannot see how a punishment can be applied.
I've had a look on youtube as well now and I can see the merit of this being investigated, but cannot agree that any punishment should have been made.
Imo he had to cut the chicane and he followed the rules by allowing Raikkonen to pass him by straight after the cut.
