I looked on Monday when I had my tyres changed at Arrow Tyres. I had 20 minutes to kill and it was depressing. These are just my opinions. Feel free to have a different opinion. I have no agenda.

I probably lived in Newhaven for longer than you so I know what it's like. How was I negative when I sung the praises of 3 other places? Newhaven has the worst High Street in Sussex, no banks and only one cash machine. The centre used to be vibrant but now there isn't one single decent shop...

Shoreham and Southwick, even parts of Portslade are nice enough areas. I wouldn't recommend Newhaven or Peacehaven though to anybody.

The station is at World's End.

The Plough & Harrow is very nice but not cheap. The George deserves a mention in Alfriston.

When the A27 is closed these days it's not worth trying to go anywhere. Too many people per road down here.
