not wishing to pick holes. But did we not let go. Kuszczak ,ward Vicente Orlando ,Hammond ,Lopez .if we wanted they could have stayed. is that not down to Burke ?
His form is improving but for me still needs to work on distribution Twice last night poor kicks clearances led to a Fulham counter attack. Saying that at one point he bollocked CMS for not chasing his clearance. Shot stopping , crosses , cant fault him
My point being that early on in the Pre season transfer window he was not a Target for Burnley who thought they would get bigger and better players . They too were under pressure to sign players and that fitted the bill. If we had gone about our business in a professional manner the situation...
Why is that speculation ? he wanted to come we penny pinched it dragged on and we lost out when in all honesty it should have been done and dealt with early in pre season. he woukld then have benefitted from a full pre season at BHA which would have helped as well
I was talking about at the beginning of Pre season ie just after the play-offs , not in the days just before season started . Both Ward and Andrews were keen to join . Agreed people did bemoan Andrews , but personally thought he was good for BHA .
This with bells on ! Both Andrews and Ward were good mates down here and i believe if we had offered Andrews a contract, Ward would have followed . Upson was unfortunate and will always happen , but we were so in control of the other two, its embarasing to have let slipped. If Andrews was...
Why pay him off in full . Stick him on garden leave and pay him monthly . He either collects the cash for the remainder of the contract or pride kicks in and he accepts another job at which point you stop paying . Its being done more and more , rather than paying off in full only to walk into...
Why not ?, they are clearly not good enough All this talk of we are too good to be where we are including from the management is a clear sign that they have not taken on board the task needed to get us out of a relegation fight
i should think every holding midfielder (sorry every midfielder) who is out of favour with their current club will be linked with us . Unfortunately instead of the foresight being offered with an established confident Manager we will be offered every Tom Dick and Harry, and be linked with...
For me he was good at creating a nuisance up front which is what we needed . He was able to hold ball up and take pressure off which is lacking with our front players at mo as they get knocked off the ball too easily .
For me. stockdale was at fault for the 1st as his poor throw out. Immediately. Put a potential counter attack into a defending situation. With Hughes caught out of position
