[Politics] Labour reinstates Jeremy Corbyn after suspension over antisemitism remarks

We desperately need a fully functioning, credible and electable labour party and the cumulative effect of the last few years has hit home to me that I really want Starmer to succeed. This isn't great, but he has, say, three years to sort out the mess for a run at government so a long way to go

[Politics] Should Lewis Hamilton be knighted?

For sure Mercedes have the best car, and will probably now continue until the regs change. But Hamilton is in the best car because, well, he's the best. And the team know he makes them better, just as they make him better. And he has a team mate who is desperate to win, but can rarely do so...

[Politics] Should Lewis Hamilton be knighted?

There might be an argument that racing cars and bikes isn't sport, I’d disagree but its an argument that will roll. To frame Hamiltons achievements though, F1 is though the pinnacle of car racing in the world. He came into F1 and won the championship in his second year. His team mate in the...

[Politics] Should Lewis Hamilton be knighted?

Poor kid from Stevenage, parents worked their arses off to help him help him race in a money sport, he was so fast McLaren put him on their young drivers programme at 13. Kicks butt of pretty well everyone he races against and ultimately get the best ride. First black man in F1 in a non diverse...

[Help] How do negotiate a job offer salary?

Ok, understand for sure but just flagging that comes with some risk given its draft. I’d go after work, sign the contract based on the date at the end of your notice period then hand in the notice the following day. I’m no lawyer though and am fairly risk averse in these types of situations

    [Football] Selhurst Park "improvements"

I’d forgotten about the St Johns ambulance incident. Absolutely shameful. How can people “support” something that is against the values of the vast majority of people in this country? It really is disgusting.

    [Politics] Brexit

Indeed, there are very few Brexenefits. The populists have been kicked out in the States, but we are stuck with a Trump like exit for rather longer. Still, the backlash is starting

    [Politics] Brexit

The Brexit jihadists seem blindsided by the fact their leaders have ****ed this up, that we are either a vassal state in a few weeks if Boris capitulatss (although he’ll be putting lipstick on that pig) or we leave without a deal and then after some months sign up to a vassal state deal. :ffsparr:

    [Politics] Brexit

I know, right. You'd think that even the more looney brexiteers on here would know that their brexit government is full of incompetents. Its like being led by the class halfwit at the moment.

    [Politics] Brexit

Ignoring your dull stereotyping i take it you from above you are of the view Brexit will be a great success? I really hope so, we have left and seems we will either be a vassal state deal or have a no deal. Not sure what the Brexiteers are after but lets see how it goes. We are led by...
