Massive YES.
It would be amazing if the Albion could lead the way on this issue and pilot a safe standing area. We have been really progressive with the Amex - on the bars opening after the game, lovely pies, sustainable transport solutions etc - and now safe standing would continue that...
THIS. Try and get the other areas of the crowd to join in. Maybe the Watford game would be good for this, as it's on TV? Do Watford fans have this issue, would be great if all fans home and away got involved.
Not true. They had a reduced allocation for some away games because of persistent standing in the aisles at away games. An entirely different issue. If clubs received reduced allocations due to away fans standing at away games... well most clubs would be getting into trouble for this every week...
Let's not lose sight of the fact that somebody was manhandled and then ejected for... standing up and starting a song. Where, in the ground rules and regulations, or even British law, does it say you can't do that? Ridiculous. They have no right to do that.

For christ sakes... the ENTIRE north should be standing which would ensure the stewards have next to nothing to do every week. Said it before and i'll say it again, allocating large areas for tolerated seating is now commonplace at all major UK football grounds. Next time you watch match of the...
I know i shouldn't say this, but why don't you just park in Moulsecoomb? If i lived outside of Brighton, i would definitely park in there somewhere. It's not illegal, and it's really close to the ground!
Exactly. You watch any match of TV and you'll see vast areas of the ground with tolerated seating... in both home and away areas. In fact most grounds in the championship have large areas where standing is tolerated - for example we'll see this in the home ends on Saturday. Don't believe the...
Taken from the Supporters Federation:
- ‘We take a somewhat relaxed view on (standing) provided the individuals are not causing annoyance to other spectators or obstructing other spectators views.’ (Club safety officer in correspondence with FSF member)
- ‘A measure of persistent standing...
This sums things up nicely. I don't even sit in the North, but i often get cross just by glancing across and seeing the stewards engaged in silly little huddles and pointing up at certain groups. Just let people be! Other than the aggressive pointless stewarding... NOTHING bad happens in the...
EVERY other major ground in the country has a large area or stand where standing is tolerated. Much like the away end at the Amex when it's sold out. This is a common sense approach and works well. This concept of some at the back can stand but everybody else must sit is utterly unfair and...
This year's play off final is NAILED ON to be... Us v Them. I would rather it wasn't though... i wouldn't wish the cavalcade of caravans that will pitch up in parks, children's playgrounds and playing fields across Wembley and surrounding areas on any group of residents.
I do rather feel that...
Not this nonsense again. Mr Bolton va va... please don't worry mate. You'll be back at Brighton Station in plenty of time to pick up some beers from the M&S within Brighton station and catch your train. Really wish these stories about travel delays hadn't circulated last season, because they...
Alabama Shakes are way over rated in my view. Massive hype act at this year's TGE so didn't even bother trying to get in. Saw them at Bestival and they were ok but no more. Don't rate the album at all. Wish Grimes would play Brighton again.
£90 for that lot is a great deal.
It could happen if football clubs pushed for it. And if us fans campaign for it.
Existing West Upper ST holder... would definitely move to a terraced North Stand (or those new North corner sections). Might be cheaper too.
Nope. Had a lovely pie past night and a pint of Kroney at half time which cost £4... which is EXACTLY what i was charged in a pub later that night back in town. And buying a Kroney from that mobile thingy on the concourse (no smartcards so no discounts) is, i guess, the most expensive pint on...
