Can’t argue that and hope you’re right.
I’m a massive fan of RDZ and I want him here long term, but he has to be aligned with the clubs long term vision.
Like you say, he might be and I might be pissing in the wind, but something just doesn’t seem right at the moment.
Maybe we are all misreading his comments and he’s delighted with the business we didn’t do then.
Despite his following comments:
“We deserved to lose...I understood the problem in January!"
“I am starting to explain the future in September, in October, in November, in January – especially in...
Arguably our best 2 players in the last 2 games have been Barco (Wolves) and Baleba (Fulham)
And RDZ said the following on both:
Barco - “No, he's not ready, we knew before the transfer market opened that one player from another country, it's very tough for him.”
Baleba - “Baleba is not ready...
Think you’ve missed my point. Not once have I said he ‘doesn’t trust the youngsters’
My point being the negativity around WHY we are in a situation where we are having to put our trust in them.
Klopps very much used it as a positive and supported them 100%, RDZ has used every opportunity to...
Difference being Klopp put his faith and belief in the youngsters, embraced the situation Liverpool found themselves in with the injuries and the young players seem to thrive on that.
De Zerbi would have just moaned, blamed the lack of depth / investment in the squad and that negativity would...
Kicked off behind us yesterday for the same reason, bunch of ‘coked up’ lads deciding to sit where they wanted and when the guy who’s seat it was turned up late, he was given dogs abuse because of it and told he would be dealt with outside the ground after the game.
Continued for 20 mins with...
Potter didn’t fancy Duffy and RDZ doesn’t fancy Webster. That’s what I meant.
It’s been a natural progression in that we play and the players we have suited to that role.
Unfortunately this all stems from us not replacing Caicedo, MacAllister and Mwepu in the summer.
We’ve punched above our weight for periods of this season, the Europa League run and some stand out results have ultimately papered over the cracks.
RDZ knows it and it’s obviously a massive source...
It’s not faultless but I’d argue it’s delivered far more than it’s failed.
You do realise it’s the envy of every club in world and why all of our people are being cherry picked off the back of it?
RDZ was made fully aware of the way re recruit and our business model when he signed for the club.
In terms of today and Craven Cottage.
Why the hell is that new stand still mostly empty? And very strange they didn’t add any corporate boxes into the design? It just looks a little shite.
The Webster situation reminds me of the Shane Duffy scenario.
The role of a centre half has developed so much, Webster and Duffy will win headers all day and are very much ‘old fashioned centre halves’
Problem is, Potter and more so RDZ want to play from the back and see their centre halves as...
Maybe if RDZ had signed the new and improved contract that’s been on the table long before January the club might have been a little more supportive with January’s recruitment.
As mentioned above, Dahoud and Fati were RDZ signings, say no more…
I’m 100% confident the club will invest in the...
