Correct and after a shocking second half I still have the same question marks over the same players with the exception of Hinshelwood who looked much better in midfield. He is not a left or right back.

Maybe judge us at Xmas when we have the likes of Wieffer, Gruda, O’Riley, Ferguson and March up to speed.

Get the impression that he’s going to rest a few and in particular those that started on Saturday and also played for their nations last week. So on that basis no Verbruggen, Van Hecke, Hinshelwood, Ayari, Baleba, Minteh or Mitoma. Makes sense.

As much as I dislike Cundy and O’Hara, I really enjoy their sports bar show. Far better than the crap Radio 5 Live put out.

Commissioned for another series I believe, featuring a new group of lads from another part of the UK. For what it’s worth, I loved seeing the young lads progression, but as rewarding and uplifting for me was to see Freddie find himself after what has been the most difficult of times for him.

Veltman has taken on the Bruno role, a huge asset to the club and I hope he’s here for a long long time in whatever capacity that may be. I would imagine an ambassador as per Zamora and Murray.
