I think they can extend by one year if they wish.
But I agree with you about purple patches. I recall some research that shows that one not season very rarely an indicator of long term goal scoring potential. But this guy is still quite young.
The Albion are far from infallible. When you look at the breadth of reaction, and the readiness of people to immediately assume the worst, or to so quickly and vehemently argue (taking NSC as a slightly skewed sample) I often find myself thinking "Who would run a football club?". I know they get...
How do you work out your average if you have failed to complete a game? Do you count that as 7? Or ignore it? Or something else? I've failed on two, played 20+, but can't work out how to calculate an average. What's the NSC protocol?
That's right. Tony Bloom runs an evil empire just to make money at our expense and his staff spend their time planning how to upset home fans. Pathetic take.
Perhaps, but he had had 4 years at Espanyol in the top Spanish league before joining Stains. GP had some Poly in the North, a swedish side and one season at the second best team in Wales.
Not the best ever, but very high standard. The first three minutes were genuinely some of the best passages of play I have seen any team play. So mezmerising. The Chelski players looked shocked.
Ian Wright (ex Palace and Arsenal, Brighton reject) reckoned Webster had his easiest game of the season cos Chelsea were shit, so of course he looked good. :wozza:
What would need to change for us to feel more confident about an 8th place finish? Is it as simple as "we need to convert more opportunities" or is there more to it? Feels like we are so close to being a genuine top half side this season.
48 in 2014/15 (Palarse)
50 in 2015/16 (Chelsea)
45 in 2016/17 (West Bromwich)
44 points in 2017/18 (Newcastle -8 gd), but over 50 (and climbing) since then.
