This pretty much nails it. The club are DESPERATE to try and get people to arrive early and leave late to help hide the massive flaws in their 'transport plan' yet their decisions around the catering partners go completely against this. Perhaps they actually want less people to start attending...
Wondering how shambolic the catering will be on Saturday... as this is the first game under the new catering regime. I'm expecting a massively downgraded service (if that's possible) and lower quality food and drink to be introduced as the season goes on.
Save yourself hours of tedious bus travel mate and use the train instead. The 25 will take an hour or more to work its way through central Brighton and then up to Falmer. The train will take about 25 mins from Hove to Falmer. Plus you can have a nice cold tinny on the train.
Dogs should be banned from towns and cities for this very reason. Okay that's never going to happen, but i've noticed a few parks that have been allocated as dog free recently, which is great news and surely the way to go in the future. To see how much difference this makes to a park area... go...
Don't understand the animosity towards ITV's football coverage, or indeed their sport coverage in general. It's way better than the tedious, smug 'personality' driven approach of the BBC. Their expert analysis usually consists of 'hilarious bants' between morons like Savage and Lawro. Still not...
What's wrong with Hollingdean? You could get a nice house in 'the dip' for that. Excellent schools around there, easy to access town, super easy to access The Amex.
Yes. But I expect a extremely low attendance. Also noticed on the ticket site how poorly the Newport game is selling which is a bit of a surprise. £12 to watch us hammer somebody in the league cup is great value surely?
Madness if true. Quality quality player who would have improved in his second full season with us. Played regularly for Bilbao in La Liga before joining us... how are we going to pick up a better replacement without spending a fortune?
I think it'll be easier and nicer to walk to Hastings than Ore... which i think is similar to Southwick Station. The 10.15 from Hastings is the fast service (from Ashford) that doesn't stop much, and takes about 1 hour to get back to Brighton. That train doesn't stop at Ore.
So i reckon, leave...
Massively positive. We underachieved last season... we were a much better team than Hull certainly. If Bridders stays and we sign an attacking midfielder plus a left-back (not keen on Shorey... he's too slow) i think we'll be there or thereabouts again. Oscar has been talking about playing a...
This. Rooney has been on steady decline since his 2004 heyday. He was genuinely world class for about 2 seasons, but only for those 2 seasons. This decline has pleased me greatly as i detest Manchester United and don't care much for the fortunes of the national team.
