[Albion] Any 1901 members thinking of taking up the "The Dugout" offer?

Yep, plus an included bite to eat, and free parking. I too can see the attraction for a game or two a season. Providing it doesn’t rain. And you dont mind not really being able to see the game properly

[Albion] Any 1901 members thinking of taking up the "The Dugout" offer?

I thought the same...and yet half the allocated seats had been sold within 2 hours of the Email landing. Someone wanted these...

[Albion] Any 1901 members thinking of taking up the "The Dugout" offer?

I had to phone the club about something else and asked about this. It is indeed £199+VAT/month per seat. The first three rows of seats behind the dugout are non-playing squad members; these seats are the four rows behind those. As Herr Tubthumper says, you'd get soaked when it rains. Be...

[Albion] Any 1901 members thinking of taking up the "The Dugout" offer?

No; very happy with my seats currently. It’s from £47/month (+VAT) EXTRA for existing 1901ers. Presumably, that base price is taken from Platinum+ members, meaning it’ll be a lot more than that for Platinum and Gold members...?

    [Politics] Johnson or Hunt?

Kin Hell. As you say, proper journalism, not CT nutjobs. There's no point joking about Western politics at the moment - no matter how obvious it is that it's a joke, it turns out to be true.

    [Politics] Johnson or Hunt?

I’d spoil my ballot paper. Wait, I HAVE to vote for one of them, you say? Christ. Dart at dart board time - they’re as bad as each other - in different ways. No good? Hunt, I guess. Reluctantly. But not as reluctantly as a vote for Boris would be. Hang on. Boris - isn’t that a Russian name...

    [Albion] Missing Loyalty Points

You could point out to PB that the worked example in the club’s LP PDF shows them rounding up the starting balance for a new season to the next whole number, but that in reality they rounded down. I’m sure he’d be delighted to explain in great length why that is. It means you’ll have to change...

[Misc] Things you used to be able to do before "Health & Safety" took over

Buy chemistry sets with mercury in an openable tube. Buy leaded petrol. Chop your fingers off in slam door train carriages. Eat food prepared by BR.

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

Not so. In the club's tweet yesterday announcing the rollover was complete (it wasn't, btw), they called them "loyalty points". The club are as conflicted about what to call them as the fans are! Given the text of the tweet, it's possible that the club refer to the whole thing as "loyalty...

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

1901 get no extra points over standard STH; haven't for at least the last 2 seasons. Do you also go to every home cup game?
  11. Goldstone1976

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

I think the issue is that "loyalty" means different things to different people. To the club, loyalty = STH who has recently been to home cup games and away games, which is a perfectly reasonable way to describe the term. However, those who are most pissed off by the club's definition are those...

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

3 sentences. Response to the first: bollocks. Response to the second: bollocks. Response to the third: bollocks.

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

I did a quick back of the fag packet calculation, and I reckon the absolute max is 453

[News] An homage to The Moon

Not only is your smartphone at least an order of magnitude higher in terms of computing power than what they had on Apollo 11, but there was no weight-room for a redundant computer system; so their back-up was a slide rule and graph paper...

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

The maths for the "game" element of the LP (as opposed to the "bonus" element - the number of consecutive seasons you've held a ST) is 50% of your closing "games" balance each season. The key word in that sentence as it relates to your question is "each" - thus your opening "games" balance this...

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

    [Albion] Loyalty points?

Only 3 people are saying their points have disappeared; all 3 are 1901. That's getting mighty close to a trend.
